Calculate Your Dog’s Food Needs Now

Our raw food calculations are to be used as a guideline. Variable factors like lifestyle, activity level, health issues and temperament can all impact a pet’s appetite and weight.

Age of Your Dog

  • Puppies and Kittens (up to 6 months): Typically require 5-6% of their ideal body weight in raw food daily
  • Adults (1-7 years): Generally require about 2-3% of their ideal body weight
  • Seniors (7+ years): May need adjustments based on activity level and health status, but they usually require around 2-3%

Breed Considerations

  • Some breeds have specific dietary needs and tendencies. For example, larger breeds may need more joint support, while smaller breeds may require more frequent feeding. Check with your vet for specific advice relating to your dog’s breed.

Activity Level

  • Sedentary: Less active dogs need fewer calories, about 2-3% of their body weight
  • Moderately Active: Dogs with average activity levels need about 2.5-3%
  • Highly Active: Working or very active dogs may require 3-4% of their body weight
